In a deep hole, but inspired by Hardcore and Chitownclark, I got out the door w nothing more than a couple of gulps of water, raisins and clif bar crumbles.
To gravel track (which has a lot more gravel on it now, unfortunately) Miles w 1 min stretch, shoe adjust , jog etc. 7:41,7:17, 7:01, 6:56.

The oxygen rich, moist air helps.
