Orienteering (Mapping) 1:59:00 [2] 7.17 km (16:36 / km)

I walked new trails at Yost. They are putting in wide horse trails. They have a sand stone base and were nice. The old trails I walked were being let die on the vine. They are still usable but are hard to see from the new trails since they are piling brush at the intersections.

I had thought of using this location for a Score - O in April, but the new trails are in progress and I will need to wait on their completion.

We really cannot use this location for any of our events which will have a lot of schools. No Port a Pot, I guess they want everyone using the woods. There is no electric and no water. A very large shelter with room for about 12 picnic tables, there is only one in it. There is also a small shelter - a roof and concrete pad. Limited Parking.

This is a very techinical area, it would be a great navigational training area. It sits right over the glacial rubble in the knobs region of southern Jefferson County.
