QOC - Avalon/Orange Grove, Elkridge, MD. I didn't doing well from leg #1-4. Awful! cuz I drew sloppy on the map and also put wrong control orders on #1, 2 and 3. It took me awhile to figure out why the control number weren't matched then realized wrong orders. Oh shoot!! The map need to add more bright blue for streams and springs. They were lil dark and barely hard to see the difference between brown and black. But after leg #5 to finish, I made no errors and the time were ok after I compared with others from route gadget.

"Florida Pourienteering" at St. Augustine, Florida for Missy Kaler's surprise 40th birthday! Missy is member of FLO. She and about 20 guests were playing "pourienteering" on Saturday night. Missy and I were orienteering to find the controls located at of each 5 different bars or pubs. The group followed us. We all made each stop for a drink and eat at each bars then went back to British Pub where we started and finish. See our route at http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=627312. Oh man! it took about 6hrs and 34min That's not too bad. Uh huh! We were lucky to find all the "controls" bars after we drank. Everyone had a great time and the weather evening was so perfect.

This morning, my wife and I will be flying out to Florida for weekend. We are going to celebrate FLO Missy Kaler's surprise 40th birthday. There will be some kind of orienteering games during the party. Will tell more about it when we return.
