run along south side of level 1 including running up each (all 3) stairs both down and back. Repeat 4 times. Tested the new Brooks Cascadia to see if the fit was right and not too tight.

Slough Creek - checking start area for March event and general feel of the land. Some nice open woods, very rock in many places and hilly!
Did more walking than running. Drew up a course with control points, but opted more to check out areas, trails and avoid nasty rough areas. A lot of walking. Boy, sure is steep here. Map is still a work in progress but vegetation template and controls were good.
Temp: 45-50F, sunny, mild breeze.
