Cappuccino Gravel Ride, around Baldwin City area including Pork Chop Hill (now I know what and where it is). Also rode up to Signal Oak. First gravel road ride in a long time on the Specialized mtn bike. Really enjoyed the ride.

Got stung by a wasp as I was trying to plug into the electric outlet at the street corner. There was wasp nest in the covered outlet box. 2nd time I got stung while setting up timing clocks for an event (last one was the TrailHawks' The Snake Run).

Made an appointment to see a podiatrist (Dr. Pilakowski for June 27) to check on right heel/achilles.

To Lakeview(+) and back. Decided not to ride the Lawrence Loop, nor on a mtn bike. Still not a lot of energy since the half marathon.

5 block downtown walk before Dog Days. Then after workout, walked from Comm. Bldg. to 11th/Alabama > 10th/Vermont > 11th/Mass and back to parked car. Avoiding any stress on the right achilles. (So the uphill to 11th & Louisiana was not good). Then after drop off of Prius at Crown Toyota, walked to IHOP for breakfast and back adding about .85 miles. Good day to loosen up from stiffness lingering from the Sat. HM.
