Anticlockwise rumble around the river from Mills Pt to the Tonkin Hwy and return - coffee at Tranby and a stroll through Elizabeth Quay. Very pleasant after the 40+ days earlier this week. Huge number of riders went past on the Freeway path while I was waiting for the gang to turn up (I was early for a change) - they must have all come out today in the relatively cool conditions. Pretty hefty sea breeze as we came past the city but I wasn't complaining. Still having issues with the HRM strap when I'm folded up over the bike.

Tightening the strap gave a much more plausible HR trace - actually increased during the uphill bits.

Replaced the battery in the HRM yesterday, so this was the first test. Much more consistent reading but still tapering off towards the end, despite the last part being up a short, sharp hill. Have to try the tight strap option to try and cut through the fat.
