Jens- I think a couple might come out. There were a couple cross country runners and one of the girls that was doing this for the first time was catching on lightning fast and seemed really enthusiastic about it. I just wish between their late arrival and then not having transport from south end of park to north end (thus requiring a long hike) we would have had that 40+ minutes that we lost so we could have had a much higher fun to instruction ratio.

David- Thanks much, it was a learning experience here too. I've taught these skills to teenagers before, but always cadets, scouts or students with a lot more time available, so this was a good learning experience for me too.
