When I ski downhill, each run (the skiing part) takes in the vicinity of 5 minutes.

Yeah, way more time than exercise, but I was outdoors for (almost) all of that, on my feet for a decent chunk of it, and I logged it as intensity 1. Might be that intensity zero would have been better. I didn't time the actual runs. And when I was skiing with my nieces or their grandfather, there was some standing still during the runs as well.

Sounds like a nice outing. Black diamonds are about 40 years in my past, and were a stretch for me then.

Meh, if you ski sideways across a black diamond trail enough times, eventually you wind up at the bottom.

And if you ski sideways enough times a run does take 30 minutes. And enough turns (i.e. work) to merit logging. And probably a high enough heart rate (from fear) to also merit logging. :-)
