I think I would be lucky to make it back alive on that map, so perfect varsity match material!

Yep. If Boris is still in Sweden next year, definitely have to have the Varsity Match over there. But can we perhaps move the date of the VM so that there won't be snow? Like April, maybe? :)

Does the blue mean what I think it means? I don't want to drown at Varsity.

Hahahaha! Scott - your comments crack me up. I can't read your log with a straight face. :) Don't worry, the marshes are indeed *everywhere* but they aren't very deep - never more than knee-high for me - so I promise you won't drown.

Ian, you know *everything* so I am sure you know that the snow we've had in Oxford today isn't real snow. It's cute, but most of it will have melted by the end of today. Remember when we decided to skip training in the Lakes and just slide down a hill on our map cases because there was too much snow? Well, that still doesn't compare to the amount of snow that I've run through during some of my night-Os in Sweden. So having tons of snow during the VM will make it a very physically tough race and the weak (aka Cambridge) will drown (in the snow, Scott, not the marshes).

Having said that, as long as there's not too much snow, it will be lovely :)
