Yeah, this wasn't the best decision. This also was not the plan, and certain extenuating circumstances contributed to the ensuing chaos. I'm mulling over what happened, and hopefully this sort of situation can be prevented in the future.
Did you have to run whatever course you ran yesterday morning though? If you knew you were picking up too? They're not difficult decisions to make, really.
He's really not to blame. He had a good plan. Is it his fault that things didn't work out according to his plan? I'm sure he didn't intend to run that Blue course, but what was he expected to do in the circumstances?
You guys vastly overestimate my self-restraint if you think I can go to a local meet set by Jeff Schapiro while feeling apparently healthy and not run the blue course.
Next time you get that feeling, drive out to Amherst and run the 2005 Billygoat course instead.
