First time I went to Vegas for a conference, the tech with whom I worked, gave me $2 as she couldn't believe anyone would go to Vegas and not gamble. So I duly played her $2 in a slot machine and lost it... Next time I was there, I was three months pregnant. We stayed at Circus, Circus with friends on Xmas eve and had a dreadful buffet breakfast on Xmas morning. Then we went out to Red Rock canyon and camped and climbed. Much more enjoyable! Actually the highlight of that trip was hiking down into the Grand Canyon on New Year's Day, 1989.
So I think I can challenge you on being the worst Vegas tourist!

Maybe it is orienteers in general who make bad Vegas tourists. We'd rather be outdoors!
