Glad to see you got some decent music for Christmas after the c**p you have been plodding along to.
Looking forward to hearing some comments from you once you're training at more than 8 miles per week...
Ouch! Southdowns gets competitive....
Have a Happy New Year both of you ;-)
Happy New Year to you too Ali ! Since there are so few of us SO (and ex SO) serious athletes on Attackpoint, I'm carefully monitoring performance on a daily basis. So far it seems like everyone is doing well except for one person. And she knows who she is, especially since she must be getting fitter through the effort of typing up the words 'Rest day' on Attackpoint rather than through any other exercise :-)
Robbo how many times do I have to tell you its QUALITY not quantity...............Anyway I don't think I've got too much to worry about with your 10 minute mile plodding. I'm just sooooo flattered you measure yourself against little old me.
So all you (sad) SO people out there reading Robs log Happy New Year and may all your controls be in the right places.
It's an interesting debate. I think that over Christmas when the temptation is to over eat and put on weight, it's probably worth getting out and doing anything isn't it? I recall that Steve Vernon was advocating building up the miles by running a bit slower wasn't he?
Anyway, good to see you motivated to run 5 miles yesterday JJ, you're starting to catch me up.
