I've long been a fan of Harriman, but when I saw the recent thread on "Favorite Terrain", I was thinking of listing the Parry Sound region as my new favorite.

I think for spring and fall orienteering, it's hard to beat. Black fly and deer fly and rattlesnake season (e.g. summertime) is less good. But overall, it's pretty amazing.

Well Parry Sound is a lot flatter and a lot less blueberry. The low branches on the white pines push you around a lot in this terrain though. I should send you the course that we did yesterday. Quite nice.
