So ... Grant at 5, Ward at 19 and then a few less well known options after that. A bit hard to tell how it panned out, looks like a reasonable mix, and a lot rides on how Grant develops over the next 4-5yrs. Given that, I think it's more important how some of the players already playing develop over the summer ... ah well time to switch off bigfooty for a while and just wait for pre-season games to get the hopes up!

yeh lets hope Grant is better than our last high tall draft pick, ahem, Tim Walsh. he soudns good but they all souund good at this time of year. WOOF guys are a big wrap on Ward so hopefully that works out and of course the obligatory Clayton draft smokey....... time for pre season break before back into it.

That's better than the Crows useless recruiters! We passed up on Brad Ebert for Rodney Dangerfield at pick 10. He doesn't even want to leave home next year and will stay in Geelong to go to school. What a waste! We are hopeless at picking up top 10 draftees. Our last ones were Lawrance Angwin and John Meesen (both duds who left the club with 1 game between them).

...although Angwin did make a useful contribution to the Crows (and 14 other clubs) by virtue of his exploits at Carlton.
