Have just posted about that on Facebook. Looks really nasty to me, and from what I'm seeing it looks like things are being done which our experience in Australia tells us are really bad things to do - in particular, last-minute evacuations too often result in dead people in broken-down/crashed/stuck-behind-fallen-tree cars. (I can't see any plausible way of safely evacuating a town of that size in the middle of a forest, but it seems like that's what they're trying to do).

If it were me, I'd be heading for the centre of the biggest open piece of ground I could find (in an Australian town, that's probably the middle of the local football ground) and hoping for the best.
