He was 20th in BUCS X-C "A" race - so a faster runner than Mikey - and is ranked 13th in O, to my 200th. So I'd say my 2nd place was never in doubt! :) not sure why he'd run Short Brown either? Maybe he is recuperating from injury or something.

Decided against parkrun sub-18 attempt on Saturday now. Tho my Achilles has NEVER hurt during a road run/ 5km race (*). It's only the soft ground / sinking in.
