Worked high start to bag end, really cool problem. Did all of the moves, should've sent. Oh well. Psyched to have a cool mini proj there again. I should get it next time, and then I can work on the low start, which is v11. Cool to climb with Johnny and Vic.

Weird day.
Wu on 1/2 of wet 11a. Tried old 12a proj that hold broke off of since I last tried it- couldn't do it. Repeat repoint 12a. Tried Knuckle Up (5.12d) and made a little bit of progress. I know I can stick the big move. Psyched to get back on it.

I think I'm in a hole physically right now and need some rest from climbing harder routes.

Cold today. Warm up on 10d, then hiked down to grey cliffs and worked "too young to be human." Sent 3rd go with freezing fingers. Really cool route. Hard for 5.12a/b. Didn't climb as much as we'd hoped but still psyched to do another routeo I hadn't ever done.

Short session today. Tired. Warm up on 10d, and then onsight naked nebula 12a. Boom. Climbed to the 5th bolt on knuckle up 12d but didn't have the guns to really work on it today. Called it a day and came home, which I think was for the best. Recover and crush again in a couple days.

Gave 13a a try and got to new high point but ripped open finger. Did Heretic Wisdom (12a) 2nd try of the day. I was a little too reckless with my energy yesterday and felt the consequences today. In all, a good trip.

Pretty good session. Flashed some new 5s and a soft 6. Ended with some core stuff and 3 sets of Frenchies on crimps on the rack. Cycles: 3, 3, 2.6. That place gets so f'ing crowded.

Up from 1-2a bc neighbor was playing bass. Work plus class tonight. Marathon sitting.

Up and down 5 flights of stairs between work and class. I'm going to make more of an effort to run at least once per week.

34min of extra sleep today after sleeping through the alarm. That's a first. My lower back was pretty stiff when I woke up, so I'll rest today instead of an easy 30min of bouldering. No need to overdo it.

28min walk around the hood after work with about 150' of uphill. Felt good to get out but I don't miss running in the cold.

Long day at the gym Sent v6/7 cave proj from yesterday 2nd go. Worked two 7s and an 8. Did all the moves on all 3 but the last on one of the 7s and the 8. Only on send but a decent work day, ending with some campusing and 2min plank. I really hope to climb outside this next week. Bailed on going to Joes today b/c of cold and possible snowy conditions.
