Slow and steady around the brown on Bull Island. I had picked up a sore throat on Friday and the time trial had tired me. I struggled physically in the last loop. Really enjoyed it though and I was happier with my technique today but not perfect of course.

My race was fairly perfect until now but I dropped time here. I didn't have a plan and struggled to read anything crossing the tracks. Ended up close and relocated quickly but a few stops along the way cost me.

Small miss. Couldn't pick out detail close the the control and was too left. I should have slowed down until I understood the map.

4 Laps of Time Trial. I enjoyed this. It was the first time I ran it for the craic rather than looking for a time. Last year was a disaster due to the mud and this year was the same.
The first hill was alright on the first lap as I was first out but the difference on the second was crazy. But overall I was happy enough with my running considering the time lost there with the Adidas but even still I must note that my last split was poor, very slow.
