slept:9.0 shoes: La Sportiva Akasha 1

Allowed myself 70 on the moors. Maybe a bit too much effort at times but without that you'd never get up the hills respectfully and enjoyably.
Spent the morning car parking at the local XC so plenty of time on feet and odd eating.

Note

Have recovered from the SPOOK tiredness but now have a cold that is perilously close to my lungs so taking it easy for a few days. Maybe not ideal but good to get it out the way now. I can still get some work done before Jan races and be in fair shape.

The general plan for the winter is to get 4-5 months of consistent training in the run up to London. Its easy to say but I need to be sensible in the run up to targets. Last winter I did some good training but too many times hit races tired in leg and body. Hopefully having a bit of input will help here.

Running - Road 48:15 intensity: (5:00 @1) + (35:15 @2) + (8:00 @3) 6.17 mi (7:49 / mi) +193m 7:08 / mi
slept:7.0 shoes: La Sportiva Akasha 1

Massive willpower and an entire Chocolate Malt Loaf required to get me out. Despite the foul weather I managed to do more than the minimum required 35mins.
