12 PM

Running - Road 50:14 [2] 10.14 km (4:57 / km) +203m 4:30 / km
ahr:165 max:221 shoes: New Balance M849

Walkley, Crookes, Lydgate, Crosspool, Ranmoor, Endcliffe, Uni, Weston. Stopped off in Endcliffe to see if anyone had dumped the control from last night (they hadn't) and uni to see if prelim grades were posted (they weren't). Looped around Weston to get the distance up and bumped into Rach and Ash.
Felt a bit tired and not very smooth. For the last 2 mornings I've had a slight pain down the outside of my left knee (bit dif to normal ITB pain). It eases off with a walk and I don't feel it during the run, save maybe one iffy stride near the beginning.

Note

2.1 and a phone interview which went quite well. Back home on Tuesday I'm afraid :(
4 PM

Running - Road 8:04 [1] 1.67 km (4:50 / km) +10m 4:41 / km
shoes: Adidas Kanadia TR3

Jogged down to the Botanicals with Ash (Treb walked as he was " 'angin out his arse")

Orienteering - Urban 20:00 [2] 2.0 km (10:00 / km) +40m 9:05 / km
shoes: Adidas Kanadia TR3

a guess at time/distance. Haning a few controls (lots of walking), checking/waking up controls, and collecting. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, the rain held off and Andy Cox (head of Usport) even managed to come down to see what we really do!

Cheers to Ash, Treb, Daverams and Magic for helping out
