Feeling OK tonight. Trying to think about using some muscles after seeing appalling pictures of me running at the sprint last week. Blew up on the 4th long on so skipped the last and finished with a short at a more sedate pace.

If only I'd seen the extra gully under the circle at 6! 2+ minutes lost there. Apart from that and a bit wobbly going to 8 all was fine. Ran out of steam big time after 30 min, which corresponded to when I was at the lowest point on the course and had to come back uphill home.

Frustrating to lose 30 sec and a place just before the end. Had no speed and a dud route choice to 4 (not helped by unmapped fence), apart from that not too embarrassing.
