Tried to use this as a recovery session, only set out to do the line course but enjoyed that so kept going. Unfortunately my brain had switched off so I kept riding past my tracks. In the end I dropped 22, 17, 34 and 35. I also rode straight past 19 without realising. Nice tracks to ride around so no problems. Could not walk when we got home again.

13thl, 2nd women and first vet women. Too bad I had that bad patch between 2.5 and 4 hours. we got very slow for a while.

For the record, wore short tights, singlet (no chafing but sun burn), taped feet - but tape started hurting, and took camelbak - think I should take the OMM next time. Had to stop and take tape off left foot at about 1 hr.

Not too bad, could have used a compass for 3 and 4. Dud route to 19 cost me big time. Plus then I had to stop and get seeds out of my socks on way to 20.

More enjoyable than expected but miles behind the pace. Some nice foreshore running and much of the streets were gun as quite intricate with road crossings to plan and lots of little laneways.

Another Bruce Ridge excursion. Got a quick lap in after collecting Aoife's triathlon pack and before time to set up etc. so much fun. I loVe Canberra. Found the modified trail today, much easier getting up the hill.

Hard work for points tonight! I could have and should have done better, but got away with not too bad a score. The lowlights were: getting there from the station, missing turn from 17 to 6, trying to take the indistinct track from 25 to 22, missing the track from 27 to 11 and unnecessarily bush bashing parallel to the track, missing the way to the finish and adding an extra minute to my time. 3 minutes late, had made a gamble to get a 30 point control and it should have paid off. Should also have considered getting 50 points on the oval, that may have paid some dividends as well.

Pleased to have done the north loop - nice to run somewhere new(ish). Pennant Hills.

Failed BOSS, muddy and not wholly committed to riding everything so a bit slow at tomes. Rode back through start, missed a control and turned the wrong way in front of everyone... for the score course made some good decisions and some bad ones. A few awful tracks out there.
