Tiirismaa run. Despite the extremely hot air (28 °C) or thanks to that everything was light today. Legs were light, body was light, mind was light. I'm usually not so good at this kind hot conditions, but today weather did not bother too much. Did not have watch with me so I ran purely based on feeling. I was hoping to get time under one hour and made it so I'm super happy. Most difficult were the downhill parts. All time I was hoping uphill to start. Difficult course. Feel free to try and also to beat the time.

Hills in Tiirismaa. I waited rain to start and take the hot air away. It was nice to run, when it was not so hot anymore. Two times up to tower from both sides. "Groomed track". New sand on the trail. Good for running. Pushed harder.

Haku Veikon rastit. H35. Mass start. Not really what I was looking for. Good things first. Physically it was quite good and there was a promise that even better is coming. Not so good thing is that navigating was poor. I was not concentrating on correct things. It did not help that I forgot compass. Borrowed Tomi's compass. I could not get comfortable with it so I refused to look at it and at the same time did not pay enough attention to map reading. Result of this combination is obvious. I starded well, but especially on shorter loops I was at kebab kiosk. The end was happy and I managed to end the race like I started. It gave me a better feeling. But, but... Almost 7 min to Hapardi and 4 min to Hytti who had to walk because of stomach cramp. Though in first loop I was in front of the person who was second. Speculations stops now and focus in on O in next race.

Taimi & Kaleva middle distance competition in Nastola, Kukkasjoki. Class H35. 4.74 km including 15 controls. Running felt better than yesterday, but I was definitely not flying. It felt like I was missing the fifth gear. No big navigating mistakes. Some zig zagging in four cp circles. I was not fully concentrating. Somehow I did not get to the right mood. Still it was ok race and I did won Tömäys with the margin of 12 seconds. The most important thing :).
