Early run with Gustaf. Met up at Mac and ran Westdale, Longwood, Wfront trail up to York Blvd and ATB course just past hot dog stand. Roads/sidewalks slippery and snowy after a few cm of snow overnight. Calves tight from yesterday.

That was a cold one! Can't say I enjoyed it but feeling afterwards was nice. Not sure if it was the lack of sleep for a few days during the Birkie trip catching up or that I pushed it too hard at the gym yesterday or what it was, but I felt really off the whole day. Best feeling was actually when I was out running but I guess I had to focus more on the exterior than the interior for a while. Knee felt ok before and during but a bit sore afterwards, not surprisingly.

Knee still swollen from yesterday's fall so decided to go to the gym. Haven't been to the gym since...early December...? Did regular circuit including 3 x 500m and 5 x 30/30 on the rowing machine.

Did the ATB - around the blocks - with Isak before heading to TNT. Only Tim was also out so we did a TNT light. Golf course not very inviting to run on so we hit the rail trail towards Fortinos and back. Fine by me - not really in interval mood anyways. Did a good number on probably the very last piece of ice I had to cross/step over. Hit hard and hurt knee - had to walk home.
