Well, that was probably silly. I sensibly didn't do the orienteering at Ramsley Moor and went round the white with AJ instead. I was planning a short run up on the plateau, but then I got tempted into running home with Andy P. It was such a nice day and in my head it wasn't that far...we skirted Ramsley, headed over Big Moor and Blacka, then started running out of time so took in a bit of road to the top of Limb, then back down Ringinglow Road. I was spent by Limb and the last few kms were a crawl - this is the longest run I have done since the Alps. Positives were that the bum didn't bother me and it was a pleasure to be out with some good company. Negatives were that everything else hurt and I was completely spent by such a short, flat run. Oh well, it's done. Let's see what the repercussions are...

A proper run! The bum felt good after yesterday, and the sun was shining, so I set of on a loop from Jen's gran's place via the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Cawthorne, fully intending to walk if I needed to. No bother though, other than a mild sensation, which eased after about 35 mins. Chips to celebrate.

Tentative jog down West Street and back. Bum hurt for the first five then started to ease. Felt promising.

Decent, if short, session at the works. Getting stronger.

Note

Saw Kim for a diagnosis. Likely to be a hamstring tear in the tendon, which has hopefully settled now after such a long lay off. Should be OK to start a bit of gentle running again.

Back to the Works. Still pretty rubbish. But enjoyed myself.
