hiking 1:42:54 [3] 8.06 km (12:46 / km) +66m 12:15 / km

Duck Pond Conservation Area and Skinner Forest, Groton. An extension of the hike I did on Tuesday evening. Happy to have gotten out early (for me that is) on a Saturday and quite enjoyed the views of the ponds on this lovely summer morning.

hiking 1:13:03 [3] 5.57 km (13:07 / km) +81m 12:14 / km

Rocky Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, Mass Audubon. Had printed a map of the trails (very basic) off of the website, which was good to swat away the bugs for much of the hike. Still managed to wander off on an indistinct unmapped trail for a bit. Was disappointed not to see more heron nests in the advertised Heron Rockery.
