Running warm up/down 30:00 [1] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: adidas goretex

Jog down to Collegiate Campus and then back home again.

Gym (TASS Group) 1:00:00 [1]
shoes: adidas goretex

Observed and joined in with the TASS strength and conditioning session at the new elite training centre at Collegiate Campus.

Good active warm-up, personal favourites were the animals: eagles, scorpions, frogs and spiders. Bit of Yoga which took me back to sessions with Pam in Canberra, bit of a modified Salute to the Sun, disappointingly no Warrior Pose though.

Did some Front Squats, Back Squats and Split Squats. Went up to 80kg for the back squats but found I could go deeper and 'pop' a bit better on the way up at 70kg.

Finished off with some active cool-down and then a bit more yoga, still no Warrior Pose but some new moves with Moon Salutation.

Good to see the newbies getting a good introduction to the basic movement patterns for effective strength and conditioning, they all did really well but would definitely benefit from some on one sessions with Dave Hembrough to improve their lifting technique. Will be good to see how they all progress.

Running (Rivelin) 32:00 [2] 6.0 km (5:20 / km)
shoes: adidas goretex

Kel got home and dragged me out for a run. Down through the stables then along and up to Mike's path then back through the allotments and past the stables again.

Chilly but nice and crisp and clear. Nice view from the top of Mike's path. Off to climbing now!

Bouldering (The Works) 1:30:00 [0]

Down at the works with OJ, Nails, Hilary, Phil, Rich, Kim, Shane... Did some more blues including a couple that I failed on last week. Felt like I worked really hard tonight, hopefully means I will be stronger next time!
