Orienteering race 46:13 [4] 5.0 km (9:15 / km) +170m 7:54 / km

Day 2 middle distance. Same terrain but felt today was much easier technically. No major mistakes today, but everyone else was much faster so I was much further down the results.

Running warm up/down 3:12 [3] 0.61 km (5:15 / km)

Very short WU to the start and no WD because it was about to wee it down.

Saturday Feb 13, 2016 #

Orienteering race 50:02 [4] 5.0 km (10:00 / km) +190m 8:25 / km

NAOM 2016, Portugal. Day 1 middle distance. Absolutely awesome area, but didn't have a clue what to expect before going out. Took it pretty steadily and didn't make any major mistakes. Dodgy RC to #4 left me stuck in so much rock and probably lost about 3 minutes. Could've been maybe 6 or 7 mins quicker with a perfectly clean race. Finished 6th which was much higher than expected.

WU to start. Short WD from finish.
7 PM

Orienteering race 14:47 [4] 2.14 km (6:54 / km) +50m 6:11 / km

Castelo De Vide night sprint. Another awesome little race. Steep, cobbly little alleys everywhere. Over and done with pretty quicky but very enjoyable. About a minute down on the winner.

Wednesday Feb 10, 2016 #

3 PM

Running long 1:12:45 [3] 11.6 km (6:16 / km) +300m 5:33 / km

Blackpool Bridge and back via Underhill and Yateholme. Feeling very slow but definitely glad to get out in such lovely weather. Ankle twisted a bit on the rough rocky tracks so was a tad sore on the way back. Also right arch quite sore.

Garage circuits. Extra station for squats.

Running warm up/down 9:13 [3] 1.69 km (5:27 / km)

WU

Running intervals 8:54 [5] 1.7 km (5:14 / km) +100m 4:03 / km

New harriers session. Magdale hills. 3x short up, down, up, down, up. Then 3x long up, down, up. Definitely one of the hardest sessions! Quads were feeling it.

WD. Tired.
