is that a way of saying that the calibre of your NGOC rivals has improved somewhat in recent months?

Indeed. We even have the makings of a competitive* Harvester dream team with something akin to the following:

5km Night TD4 Caroline Craig
7km Night TD5 Richard Cronin
9km Night TD5 Joe Taunton
7km Dawn TD5 Andy Stott
9km Day TD5 Pete Ward
5km Day TD4 Joe Gidley
12km Day TD5 Matt Stott

Are you interested / have you expressed said interest to our esteemed Captain?

*Competitive in this instance is relative; see July 2012 Legend for the most recent 'gallant failure', with dawn breaking prior to the commencement of leg 3 and the mini mass start featuring no less than 3 members of the team...

I would be up for it after last year taking BOK out in a close second place and then making several huge ballsups on Bordon, getting overtaken by hundreds, yet coming back in third.

Sadly, I'm off to watch JWOC in the Czech Republic and fly out 6 hours before the Harvester starts!

Next year maybe...

Get in touch with Greg - he said today he's already got enough for one team but is hoping to enter more.

Hi Gill. The last I heard Greg had 10 runners, so a couple more required for an A and a B team, or 4 for two A teams. I'm sure Matt and yourself would be welcomed! If you haven't done already I suggest emailing Greg. Event info is fairly loose to date but Greg should also be able to send you the flyer. Cheers.
