I understand the feeling. The other week I got home from the barn and could not find my checkbook anywhere. I ripped apart my bag, looked all over my car, under the seats, etc. I texted my trainer and she went down in the dark and looked all over the parking lot, tack room, and aisle in case I dropped it somewhere. The next day I intended to go up after work and search for it some more. Get into my car, open the console to get something out for work, and there's the checkbook (where I obviously stowed it).

Dohhhhh!

I have had a few others like that recently too.

The best is when I'm talking on the phone and start freaking out and looking for the phone because I can't find it...

The Garmin is probably on my list of items to hide too, but after the camera, laptop, saddle, and my cat. The cat would be more important but she tends to hide on her own.

It's happened to all of us. Can't remember what it was now - it was a few years ago - but the best one for me was finding the item in the refrigerator after having given up and gone to get something to drink. Perhaps I should call it the worst one.

At least Annie's priorities were perfect - hide the Garmin!
