Was that at Coquimbo/La Serena shore? (visited there in '87). Such an arid region but experienced the first rain in something like four months there, memorable for fragrance. Recall a formal restaurant with a thatched roof!
Yup, and was just there again last night/for a run this morning. Not sure we found the thatched roof restaurant though... =) And we just missed the rain here- it had rained just a few days before we arrived!
