Discussion: Deer Count

What exactly is a deer count? Is that the number of deer you hit? If so, I came close to having a deer count of 1 last week too.

# we saw. To see only 1 in the Dundas Valley while training is rare but it was a rainy morning. The scary part of riding while dark are the kamikaze bunny rabbits that race out in front of you, stop momentarily, then run away in front of you, stop, then dash back into the forest.

Bring out the Holy Hand Grenade!

A fellow in last year's Beast of the East actually did run into a deer on his bike. The deer came out of it a lot better than his bike did, so I'm glad to hear you're just counting them.

A person skiing in Umea ran into a moose in a snowstorm on the track set ski trails.

Ouch!! Moose can get unpleasant if you annoy them - and that would be *really* annoying.
