Depends on how far you run in that time, or how long it takes you to run that distance?

what's important is whether your body adapts to the stress and gets fitter. your body doesn't have much sense of distance. but it does feel the stress of intensity and it feels how long it's lasting for. But then again if your mind finds it easier to get the right stress levels by running a certain distance in a certain time then why not make it easier on your mind?
