That doesn't mean you are going to get up at 6am and go running while I am there are you? You certainly won't get me out the door at that time... :-)

I´d say he should get up around 4 am at the latest to get enough time to convince the body it´s actually sane to compete as early as 6 o´clock. If a heavy breakfast is included in race preparations that may even have to be a bit earlier!

Planning to be up at 3am on Sunday. Speaking of which, it's bedtime!

I guess I ran Tio Mila 4 times. 3 times I had an early morning leg.

I tossed and turned, got very little good sleep, and felt groggy when I finally dragged myself up. But, each time I had a good race.

I think it is most important to sleep well the days before and than lay down and relax during the night. If you don´t sleep, it will not affect the performance much. But you will feel dead, the day after.

However, you should not sleep all Sunday! April 30 is crazy in Uppsala. Don´t miss it, since it is your first time there. There will be a lot of partying in the town on Sunday!

But first Tiomila.... That will be fun! And our team really looks strong. Excellent start with Josef and Fredrik on legs 1 and 2, and a good start is worth much.
