And I think that is 00:01am on the 4th - so don't wait until the last minute ;-0

And in fact that is Atlantic Time - so don't even wait until the last hour.

Just register now

I can tell you that all three championship races have great courses in cool terrain on good maps. If you're on the fence, get off it and register today - you will have a good time. Not just at the COC races but also at the three Fishbones events (including a Farsta and a chasing start) and on the lowest map in the world - sprinting at Hopewell Rocks on the ocean floor (at low tide, if that wasn't obvious). Come on - register now

When do you expect to publish the start lists etc?

We are leaving Perth next Tuesday to head to Canada and wondered if they would be available before we leave.

The organizing committee is working hard to have the start list ready by the end of the weekend, so hopefully they will be available before you leave on Tuesday.

What is the recommended footware for Hopewell Rocks? I need to start thinking about packing.

Standard O shoes are fine. The surface is a mixture of stones, sand (wet of course) of varying density, and muck if you venture near the water. Depending on over .vs. around you may end up crossing rocks with wet seaweed attached (read: slippery). A very cool/unique venue. Bummed that I'm not going this year.
