Run 44:14 [3] 5.0 km (8:51 / km)

Jog around Lake Sambell tracks at Beechworth. Glorious day and lots of stairs for sprint training. Followed with a Gumtree pie- YUM.

Run 32:50 [3] 4.0 km (8:13 / km)

Kennington lake (mudflats at the moment) and Strathdale Park. Tried as hard as l could, but still slow. The reservoir dam wall is currently being repaired (first time since 1929) and the water drained. The tracks downstream have also been widened to become muddy vehicle tracks. There are signs up notifying of forthcoming rehabilitation, so l hope that is the case. The ducks are happy but l don’t know where the turtles have gone - escaping across the road, by the looks of a new road sign outside our place.

Morning walk before starting my new job with Melb Water - just a little apprehensive as l have not worked for 18 months. Fortunately it is only 3 days a week for 10 weeks at this stage. At least it has forced me back into some sort of routine.
