Was originally thinking I would do a short run this morning, but I was feeling sore and tired from the game last night, so just went for a walk to loosen up.

A run through Uptown Waterloo on some trails and sidewalks. Had an interaction with either a homeless man or someone who was sneaking around back yards when I went to pass them on a bridge and surprised them. They through what they had in one hand over the bridge and were ready to fight to defend themselves. I noticed in the other hand they had some object and a saw, which is why I suspect they were backyard shopping in the nearby homes. After I talked them down I continued wondering if I should be running faster to get away or not.

A great day out and my first race in a long while. My back felt good throughout. I didn't do cp4 or cp5 well. The rest were ok. It was great to see everyone. Thanks Barb and team on a great event.
