Another very warm day. Almost 70 degrees out so too good of a day not to get out mapping. Started the area south of creek at Greenbelt. My computer carrying arm/shoulder gets tired holding the computer and that made this not much fun. Plus I was in the very green area trying to decide what was what. I had hoped to get more done but every little bit helps.

After mapping went for a run on the road in Greenbelt park. I wasn't sure how far it was going to be and definetly underestimated the hills. It was very hilly and I ran loops the wrong way because I would run up hill most of the way followed by a quick/short down hill.

Mapping at Greenbelt. Wandering among the green areas and seeing what is no longer there. Greenbelt continues to get less green. Major blowdown from 10 years ago is now all gone and there is less greenbriar than there used to be. Pretty much finished all the areas north of the creek. Computer ran out of power about 100 meters from the car.

Pohick and meadowwood. I was burned early in course when the control circle hid a reentrant so I pulled up a reentrant short. The second time I didn't lose much time as I looked carefully at the map to see it had been done again.
I was clean most of the course but the vegetation kept pushing me off my line.
