Long run early. Very warm and humid! Enjoyed it though and felt like less of a struggle than last week (was probably running slower!). Ran over to Bruce and O’Connor ridge, onto centenary trail and up black mountain, back home via little black mountain. Was just about the sweatiest I’ve ever been at end.

Park run at lake g. Felt good and was really happy with my race, so was a little disappointed with time. Probably slowed a bit in final km. It was quite hot and humid but I really enjoyed it.

Swam 2km. Did one of Amy’s squad sessions except for the butterfly! Made it a bit more interesting but I was quite tired afterwards.

Sprint race at UC. Really fun! My first sprint event and I really enjoyed it. Didn’t run too hard, made sure I didn’t make mistakes.

Spin class. Was a bit early but I was glad I went - very tough but fun.

Gossans with al. 2 laps with 2’ rest in between; 7:59, 7:54 followed by 4x1’ (1’). Felt good for first time in a while and ran hard.

Swim to finish big day of training. Bit tired but tried to concentrate on technique.

Went down to cisac for spin class but turns out there is a new timetable and I missed the start of the class... rode back home and went for a run instead! Was pretty slow, but went for a nice run around black mountain/little black mountain.
