Easy with Aston after work and a few open home inspections. Knee passed the stair test at work but got sore about 30-35 min into this. Will just see how the next few days go.

Strength and Conditioning 45:00 [2]

Understandably knee was sore today - probably the worst it has been in the last week so didn't even bother testing it running, it was already sore on the stair test.
Instead did some glute and ankle conditioning while Laura talked to me about home loans, fun stuff.

Oh baby, what a run. Down at the Prom with Freddo, Aston, Pat and Louis for half of the SE loop. Lucked out with a stunning winters day and had a ripper time. Louis did very well at keeping up but he isn't quite as fit as the rest of us and also not as used to trails so it was a bit stop starty. Not that I was complaining as I was still a little tired from Tuesday and we literally sat down on each beach and just admired the view while chomping on a muesli bar or to. Louis, Freddo and Aston cut up to the car at about 30km and Pat thankfully joined me to complete the loop, pushing on to complete the marathon distance. Saw a whale and a thirsty kangaroo on the last part of the loop which was a real treat.

Strength and Conditioning 30:00 [2]

Had planned to do a double today and run when we got to our accom near the prom but hamstring a bit niggly after the strides this morning and it was very dark and cold so just did 2 x trunk circuit.

Glute and barefoot conditioning prior to easy run.

Running 25:00 [2] 4.83 km (5:11 / km) +13m 5:07 / km
shoes: ASICS GT 2000 8 2E (V2)

Easy run cut short due to knee pain. Aim is to keep pushing through with the priority sessions and just doing what running I can between them but not stressing too much while I am injured.

Pre breakfast shakeout
Body feeling generally great but hamstring feeling annoyingly on edge. Will start this evenings session and just see how it goes.

Running intervals 59:00 intensity: (9:00 @2) + (50:00 @4) 16.52 km (3:34 / km)

Big Thresh sesh: 20'(4') + 15'(3') + 10'(2') + 5'
Managed to average around 3:27 for each effort so pretty happy with that. Body held together which was even nicer. Great to have Aston with me after the first 10 minutes - made it more manageable.

Running 30:20 [2] 6.12 km (4:57 / km)

Not so easy easy run. Hamstring feeling quite niggly. Seem to have found the spot after a few hours of soft tissue work - proximal hamstring very tight and sore. On my left side where my knee has been giving me grief so likely the result of some slightly off bio mechanics. Going to keep the soft tissue work up over the next week.
