Stafford St., Pembina Hwy., Point Rd., Windermere Ave., Riverside Dr., Somerset Ave., along the Wildwood Golf Course dike, North Dr., South Dr., Crane Ave., Pembina Hwy. and Stafford St. City announced a state of emergency today...scary stuff. Saw lots of saw lots of sandbag/water tube dykes and changed my route because Crescent Park was under water.

Assiniboine Ave., Esplanade Riel, along the Red River, Norwood Bridge, Mayfair Ave., Harkness Ave., River Ave., and Wellington Cr. Had to backtrack around the St. Boniface Hospital because of flooding.

Assiniboine Ave., to The Forks, across the footbrigde, Norwood Bridge, Lyndale Dr., St. Mary's Rd., Rosewarne Ave., Kingston Row, Riverdale Ave. footbridge, Jubilee Ave., Pembina Hwy. and Stafford St. Had to run over the sand bag dike on the south side of the Riverdale Ave. footbridge. Scary stuff over on Kingston Row. with the high water...every house had a big pile of sandbags in the front yard, just in case. Beautiful day, +16/+14, wore shorts and a t-shirt. 3 days between skiing and shorts/t-shirt running.

Portage Ave., Assiniboine Ave., across the Assiniboine Park footbridge, back along the bike path. Took a hard fall in Bourkevale Park after riding over some ice. Rode through about 6 inches of water from the Truro Creek in Bruce Park. Major flooding of Assiniboine Park after an ice jam today, sculpture garden, main field and duck pond area flooded.
