National race, but I got only to the 6th control. There I wanted to pass under a fallen tree but lifted my head to early. Got a 2cm scar which didn't hurt much but bleed strongly. Wanted to continue first but it was bleeding too much so I stopped the race and went to the next aid staition from where they took me back to the event center. Must have looked quite horribly because the people from the aid station were jocking that it's not Halloween yet...

"Rest day" ;-).

Long run-hike with Seline on Kalymnos. First I ran along the coast until I met her 3km later, we continued along the coast for another 3km. Then up a very indistinct trail to a small chapell, more scrambling or hiking than running... From there on a better path towards a pass, second pass again very indistinct and rough so that you had to walk most of it. From the pass we we took the paved road down to where I met Seline. Had to run back the three Kilometers from the morning...

A week of holiday on the island of Kalymnos, close to Kos.
With renni, Seline and Corina.

After arriving on Kalymnos (flight to Kos, Ferry to Kalymnos) and settling in (organizing bikes, shopping etc..) we hiked up to the sector Symplegades for two nice opening routes.

10. Nationaler OL - Galms - H40 (8/27)

Nice middle distance race, not too difficult but you still had to be focussed and pushing hard. Happy with my race, a bit tired legs on the uphills and still troubles running fast downhills. A bit uncertain to the first and not the ideal route to the twelfth - otherwise fine.
