Orienteering 1:23:49 [3] 6.9 km (12:09 / km)

BOK, Red course at Umstead South set by Vladimir Stemkovski. Nice course, getting into the far south side of the park, where I have always wanted to send runners, but haven't been able to figure out exactly how. Vladimir did a great job of getting us through there, and I was even able to keep my feet dry. Of course, there were also a few of the frustrating Vladimir specials -- bags hidden by unmapped features, extremely low to the ground, etc. Nevertheless, I probably only lost about 4 or 5 minutes to these annoyances, and felt pretty strong. I thought I made some good route choices, and executed them pretty well. Given how strong it all felt, I was shocked to see how slow my time was. Still can't figure out the disconnect between my time and how it felt.
