Mamores
Drove up on Saturday evening to catch the good weather on Sunday. parked up at the end of the Glen Nevis road, campervans are ace.
Made a good early start and headed up the glen for a few mile before starting with the big climb to Binnein Beag, soon done.
Across to Binnein Mor I had an excellent few minutes watching an eagle as it soared above the coire really not rfar away and clearly not concerned by my presence.
From B Mor it was ridge running (jogging on the flat and descents hard walking up the gradients. The tops ticked by nicely and even FS slab didn't look too bad in the dry and free of snow. Views all around were great with The Ben almost clearing at one point and a little sunshine, cool and calm.
On the climb to Sgurr an Iobhair I finally succumbed to hunger and hoovered down 3 choccy biccies, swiftly followed by a sandwich. Crossing the Devil's ridge I decided that Sgurr a Mhaim would be my last top for the day and took the descnt direct from there to Achriabhach. then had a quick sortie in the forests before heading up the glen to finish.
A very good day out.

slow start but onc it got going it did get going.
wet, it wasn't supposed to be wet but it wasn't too bad.
back wheel stepped out a few times and one guy's really kicked out, luckily no-one came off.
pretty hard riding. went ok.

2 warm up laps 3 and a half efforts and a half a wrmdown lap.
decided against timing the full lap as there is too much traffic around the roundabouts to be trying to race, so doing splits on the climb and the round to the Pollock rb.

up the WoL to Roseburn then a lap and a half of the galleries.
warm, sun and some light rain - very nice.
a bit of spring in the legs, but left upper glutes all tied up.
right upper ham a bit tight but improved - more central than previously.
