Fell running 4:10:00 [3] 38.5 km (6:30 / km) +750m 5:55 / km

For Kirkwhelpington this is the Big One - over to Simonside and Tosson Hill and back.
Bit of a CL fell run but tough with vast quantities of boggy, tussocky, heathery terrain. Stuck to the terrain on the way out steering round Harwood Forest as much as was practical. Coming back, after 2.5 hours of terrain I came through the forrest on main track - dismal plantation it was, still, toughens the mind I suppose.

more of necessity than need, feeling very slow and creaky

Usaul route up DVD to top of AS then round the tripple, dropped low and back to the summit.

Once again surprised to feel good and strong, particularly after that morning jog today.

twice up AS via the stnadard DVD route, each followed by a full circuit of the Tripple back to the summint, then down by the Ribs to Eggtimer, good rockyness. finally over the Crags
