From Derry Lodge up onto Derry Cairngorm, round to Ben Macdui and back by Carn a Mhaim. Out early and caught the best of the day - cloud lifted by the time we were climbing the hill. Not much running up the hills, but felt like a decent workout. 4:10 total time.
Ptarmagan, dotterel, snow bunting and an eagle all on the same day ;-))

E away so J and S get to play!
From Invercauld headed N up big track and up onto Creag a Chait. Back over Little Elrick and down to the stables.
Late afternoon and feeling lethargic and heavy legged. Also a bit hay-fevery for the first time this year (at least I think it's that rather than a cold). Not moving very fast, but felt better on the second half.

Extended w/u round the woods as I knew I wouldn't be feeling too bright after last night, but didn't want to bottle the session.

Running hills 19:00 [4]

Long hills above DAP - gate to gate. 4:52, 46, 42, 42. Aim was to run this steady rather than hard, but didn't entirely keep to the plan, as the effort increased through the session (as reflected by times). Felt pretty good though.

Running warm up/down 25:00 [2]

Jog back between reps and back over the hill at the end. Good session.

Cambus Canters. Long time since I've run this and actually quite happy with my time - only a couple of minutes down on the old pb! Started with a slightly generous handicap so was catching people all the way which helped.

8 x 2'+ 1' round 2 bridges at GT. Going ok mid pack. Happy with that after Sun long run.
Good turn out.

To start of intervals and back via mill pond with AW - good to see him along.

Bit of jogging at after school club. Legs feeling ok, just a bit heavy.
