Far too far! Didn't realise, would prefer to 90 minutes and definitely will get more injured
yesturday didnt really count as a hard session so need to do one today and tomrrow. didnt eat early enough so couldnt go out with malley in the peaks so had to go later.. in the dark.. on my own.... not a lot of fun. wanted to stick to main paths and stuff so found a route to the fox house then through stannge and back via the three reseviores. didnt really realise how long it was.. parents must have given me a map with a smaller scale than i thought. was going so well up porter. thought all my stretching and exercises was working on my hip, then as i reached burbage i felt it. when i strided out. happened about 5 times and was just about to turn round and go home. but then i thought if i just shorten my stride a little and see what happens, especially as i had made it out to the nice bit and it wasnt perfect but it stopped hurting and was running on it fine in no time. also its easier to see without my headtorch on, thats how much light it gives off and there was a runner coming the other way with a torch on so i couldnt see temporarily so i tripped over a rock and hurt my knee :'( really shouldnt wear white socks!!! i feel my mums pain now when she kept asking me to wear black ones. anyway, i had just about enough blood left in my body to continue so i ran on to the fox house! then up to stannage. this part was awful. half of it was massive boulders and the rest was ice covered puddles which in the dark is extemely hard to navigate so took such bad routes. got so frustrating so gave up at one point and walked. wasnt much slower tbh. soooo glad to get off the stannage and was running fast down the tracks, hip still alright, bit tight. wasnt really feeling fatigued which wasnt good :/ chose the main roads home as id had enough of icy water and all the little roads had black ice on them. need to work out a shorter route and run it harder
me 1 : 0 hip

went to interval but forgot my inhaler. got really bad 4 minutes in so had to stop after the first 5 minute rep so decided to try and do a tempo run but my muscles were just getting so tired so quickly and still struggling to breathe and the pace i had to run at to not set my asthma off was too slow so gave up

Running warm up/down 25:00 [3] 2.5 km (10:00 / km) +65m 8:51 / km
shoes: Asics gel-cumulus 13 green/blu
