Orienteering race 1:13:30 [4] 10.1 km (7:17 / km)

Jim Sawkins Memorial handicap race.
Ainslie and Majura.
My route was 12km with 460m climb - went wide to avoid all the big hills, unlike Scott who went almost right to the top of Ainslie!
Lots of track running (in spikes ..eek!) and pretty simple nav but it was definitely a good way to get a long run in :)

Running warm up/down 10:00 [2]

warmup probably wasn't long enough.

Running race 38:57 [5] 8.26 km (4:43 / km)

x-country at weston park. got gradually slower after the first 2kms, maybe partly coz the grass and undulating terrain was tiring. just couldn't make myself go faster :(
km splits:
4:23
4:21
4:40
4:48
4:50
4:50
4:52
4:59
then 4:41min/km for 260m.
so slowww :(

Running 53:00 [3]

Feeling like training has become a chore, so I decided not to do any particular type of run or try to go fast and just have a nice relaxing run. It was nice :)

Running 35:00 [3]

wanted to try to make up a bit for missing my run yesterday. i had school work to get done and less time than anticipated coz i was obliged to go out to dinner with my family for my brother's birthday..

so between school and gym i went for a run, not much time but i fitted in a short one. didn't have my garmin and my normal watch has no second hand, but i did about 10 mins warm up, 2 long hills (up to the saddle b/w hackett hill and ainslie) - about 4 or 5 mins each, then 15 warm down. intense muscle burn up the hills! was planning on three but realised that i didnt have much time and wanted to actually fit in a warm down or i'd die of muscle cramps or something at gym.

awesome coincidence - ran into sah when i was getting in the car afterwards! it was cooool. she was off to run up about a billion mountains i believe.

Strength & Conditioning (actas) 1:20:00 [2]

dave is awesome :)
now i'm tired.
