Coledale Horseshoe Fell race. Great race, classic Lake District route, crackin views and amazing weather - hardly a cloud in the sky and just a few patches of snow on the tops. Was quite strong on the uphills but a bit cautious on the downs, still a bit nervous about ankle. The only problem was whether or not to carry water and to slap on sun tan cream! I did neither - don't think I am sunburned but I could have done with some water - resorted to eating snow!

105th, 2nd V60 (1.44 down) - but a lot of the best V60's were at English Champs race at the Howgills

SOL 2, Dumyat, Blue (M60) Scrappy & tired. Tried to run hard out on the hill but not much life in my legs. Blew up a bit 11-12 and had a shocker - 3.30. Poor route to 13. Ran up a dead end track 14-15. At least the weather was nice. Too much of a hard week leading up to this - would need to have tapered more if I was taking SOL's seriously, which I am not this year.
