Southampton Park Run. Disappointed with my time. Different route to last time whcih meant going up the slope twice! Considering I'd tweaked my ankle in Zumba last night and wasn't feeling too great after we'd eaten i suppose it was only to be expected. Almost 3 years since I last did one! Must do them regularly.

BAOC FRith Hill. Ho wcan I make such huge mistakes. Number 2 - going to wrong corner of parking area, number 12 convincing myself that the control would be a the left hand end of the embankment as they'd made that mistake last event. And finally the big one, 10 minutes lost at 13 when I was navigating off an area of hard standing nowhere near where I actually was! At least 10 minutes lost to Peter Brett who was with me at 12!

Orienteering race 37:43 [4]

WIM Sherborne Urban race. Some VERY tricky planning by simon Branford. Good long legs across the area. Despite working backwards from 4 to 3 when route planning still got half way to discover a dead end! A long way round to sort myself out. Talking to the others everybody made at least one major error. Liz G won by 5 minutes, but only a minute behind Sue and a minute ahead of Liz D.
